I visit Florida during the winter, have a 2016 KIA Soul as a second vehicle only as 47k in 9 yrs of use. Last year had some work done and replaced the cabin filter. As painful a car buying experience as we have ever had. Twice we tried to walk but were told they would do better. It took 7 hrs because our salesman was new and never did a used car turn it. Beautiful dealership and staff was friendly and very helpful while we decided what would be the best fit for our needs.

We bought the car we wanted, but it was not a pleasant experience. We were at the dealership for six hours. Our salesperson was friendly but not knowledgeable or helpful. He kept leaving us, he kept making excuses and after 5 hours and having a deal we said we would come back tomorrow to close the deal. service is a mess, took vehicle in for service for paint repair and dent removal. no painter for the week, dents were removed but they didn't tell me that there was no painter working due to vacation. poor planning poor communication between departments or to the customer. they had the car for the whole day and didn't advise me there was no painter, very unhappy on first service experience..

The dealer shows false advertisement on their website, their leases low offers is just to get you in their showroom. The salesman Ted said that I needed to add around $9000 to get the payment shown on their website. Joel is very nice, not pushy, and helpful. The dealership was a bit sketchy playing the finance game. I had called Chase prior and got an interest rate quoted. I asked for my interest rate, and they wouldn't commit to a number; they kept circling back asking what did I wanted my payment to be. So then I get stuck with a bank that I have to make 6 payments with, ten I will get a lower rate elsewhere. Over al they are an ok dealer.

It was a busy Saturday and had to hunt for a sales agent so we could look and the car. Reception area was staffed by one person who failed to recognize us as we stood at the reception counter. When we pushed him to talk to us, he informed us he was not a receptionist, just using the computer at that location. A horrible start, but he did find us a sales agent. Carlos was great. Helpful but not obnoxious.

The Kia of port Charlotte was a great place to purchase my new vehicle. Ted was our sales associate. He did a great job at keeping us informed and making this an easy purchase. It was a Saturday so they were extremely busy,but still did their best to make it a an easy and time efficient process.

We had an issue with the previous vehicle and they were very helpful in trading that vehicle in and getting us into something nice and upgraded.

Last year wanted to replace air filter(engine) and inside carriage filter. KIA wanted $200.00 ea. Air filter cast m $22.00, and $17.00 at Autozone. Took 20 second each to replace. Yesterday needed a cost of a molding piece. KIA wanted $91.08, I found online for $25.36 - once again took me 20 seconds to replace. My 5yr old grandson could have replaced all of these

I understand they were busy, and short 2 managers (I was told), but there was no reason to keep telling me “…things are moving along…..” or ….“ just a few more minutes….” or ……everyone came in at the same time…” or “…….someone will be with you shortly….”. It was a pleasant experience. Orlando was great. He tools us around to see different cars and explaining what was included with each car. All employees we met or dealt with were friendly and professional.

Over $10k of dealer add ons and fees for a $20k vehicle is ridiculous. The convenient omission of a finance contract at the time of sale is suspicious. Shady business
